Themes, program and first side events announced
ICRI 2024 will focus on how Research Infrastructures’ can help address current global challenges, while also offering a glimpse into the future.
The Conference’s themes, program, and the first side events have all been announced.
ICRI’s key themes will be:
- Digital research infrastructure
- Research Infrastructure for translation
- Global collaboration
- Hope and wonder (enabling future science)
- Challenges: Climate change and the energy transition, feeding the planet, healthy communities
- Indigenous knowledge.
It’s the first time ICRI will feature a focus on Indigenous knowledge. This will include best practice on how to engage with indigenous communities on developing and using RIs.
Quantum technologies, AI, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and leveraging RI to deliver societal impact will also be highlighted.
