CSIRO’s “Investigator” research vessel sets sails, with new technology
CSIRO’s RV “Investigator” has departed Hobart on its latest scientific voyage, and with some exciting new upgrades.
The team aboard will spend 31 days at sea studying changes in the South-east Australian marine ecosystem.
This is the Investigator’s first voyage since the vessel had several technology upgrades and a fresh coat of paint during its recent service in dock.

ICRI 2024 will cover biodiversity observation as part of its session on “Showcasing successful global research infrastructure collaborations.”
